Yes, 6. That's how many live here, lately that is. Amanda's at the cousins' home in Bellingham, and I have 2 of the Bellingham cousins here!
The highlights have included:
A morning at the park...
Lazy mornings full of snuggling the kitties
And snuggling your cousin!
Alissa had the opportunity to get a great lesson in with Mr. Carlson (thanks Brad!). He worked with her on her flip-turns. He said, "Wow, she is a natural! The way she moves through the water is so excellent and she knows how to handle the water. I can't believe she has only been swimming since December. She has HUGE potential!" WAY TO GO LISSY! She gets to meet with him again tonight for another hour of work in the water. (I discovered how hard it is to get a picture of someone swimming... duh, they're under the water!)
All I can say is that Brad is pretty much my favorite person right now! It just makes me so happy seeing that picture and that he is IN THE WATER coaching her! Do you suppose there is any chance that your sweet friends actually want to move to B'ham? I'm sure there is room for one more coach on the swim team!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the picture at the top of all four cousins. Way cute pose. THANKS for having the girls. I'm rather aware that you got two younger girls and I got one older girl and that somehow there is something intrinsically unfair about the whole thing. :o)
I've had a lot of fun! Thanks for letting me get my "feet wet" coaching a bit!
ReplyDeleteAlissa: on the backstroke... remember pinky out, pinky in. And stretch out the breaststroke!
Perhaps Brenda's sweet family would consider moving to Olympia instead? Now you have 2 reasons to come here!
ReplyDeleteAnd just to be clear, Brad and Leanne like to switch our sign-in names now and then, just to keep everyone on their toes! :)
